Samsung is better in keeping secrets, at least better than Apple. So far, Samsung's next flagship smartphone- Galaxy S3 is still a mystery. Though most of the specs have been predicted and seems to be correct, the release date is still a secret.

Previous photo leaks of Samsung Galaxy S3 suggested May 22 debut at a media event in London. The release date is now facing a challenge from a banner placed at a Phone 4U store at London.

Phones 4U is official sales partner of Samsung. Samsung Galaxy Nexus was first available in this store in the whole of UK. The store has refreshed its look with Samsung logo and a date stamp indicating March 30 release date of a new Samsung device. However, at the moment we cannot confirm that the new device coming is Galaxy S3. The new Samsung gadget could be anything - even a new tablet. But the way, it is written clearly indicates that something big is coming. And Galaxy S3 is the biggest thing that Android fans are expecting from Samsung. The new mysterious banner at Phones 4U store, leaked by Eurodroid.com triggers speculations that Samsung has already done a deal with the retail store again and phone 4U will be the first store offering the next generation Galaxy S in London.

Though Galaxy S3 will miss the credit of being the first quad-core smartphone, it could turn out to be the best selling quad-core smartphone of year 2012. After the big success of Galaxy S2 and late summer/fall release date of iPhone 5, we can say with certainty that Galaxy S3 will be the most-sold quad-core phone of this year.

Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to pack 4.7- or 4.8-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen with 720p resolution. The device will equip quad-core Exynos processor and 2GB of RAM. The high-profile camera of Galaxy S2 may also get updated to 12-megapixel shooter in the upcoming flagship device. Connectivity feature of Galaxy S3 are 4G LTE network support, optional Near Field Communication (NFC), microUSB version 3.0, assisted GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth version 4.0, Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi Direct plus hotspot functionality and dedicated microHDMI port.

Samsung Galaxy S3 ought to be running on the latest Ice Cream Sandwich (Android OS 4.x) with a refined TouchWiz UI v5.0. The new device is expected to have Rado-style ceramic design and 9mm sleek profile.
