Overheating Issue

New iPad 3: Top 6 Problems That May Cool Down Craze For New Apple Tablet Hot…hotter...and ouch... Users are complaining that continuous usage of the new iPad makes it become abnormally warm (and much warmer than the iPad 2). Though some users say that the iPad gets warm but it is still comfortable in hand, many people are complaining that the new tablet gets too hot to hold in hands. According to the latest reports, the new Apple tablet hits 116 degree while playing intense graphics games. Apple has discarded all the charges by saying that the new iPad is working in the specified temperature range.

According to the latest reports, old smart covers do not work as good on the new tablet as they used to on iPad 2 or the original iPad. Apple has reportedly messed up the polarity of the magnets and smart covers no longer are attracted towards the new iPad. Third-party cover makers are out of luck this time. But the new Apple smart covers seem to work fine with the new iPad.

Yellow Tint

New iPad 3: Top 6 Problems That May Cool Down Craze For New Apple Tablet The super high resolution Retina display of the new iPad is now under criticism as it is not as amazing as Apple is advertising it. Charging Issue

New iPad 3: Top 6 Problems That May Cool Down Craze For New Apple Tablet Another reason why you should think twice before buying the new iPad - it does not charge as well as it is supposed to. Reports are making rounds that when playing games on the new iPad while the device is plugged-in, battery drains instead of charging. Apparently, the power input is not enough for running iPad and charging the battery simultaneously. Depending on the intensity of usage, the new Apple tablet will either lose juice or charge slowly while in active state. The fully-drained battery of third generation iPad takes a whopping 5.5 to 6 hours to gain 100% charge. There are also reports that the battery charge indicator might be misleading because the battery still continues to charge even after the indicator shows 100%.

Data Drain/Speed Trap

New iPad 3: Top 6 Problems That May Cool Down Craze For New Apple Tablet The new iPad is blessed with 4G LTE support, but the same feature could make you part with your hard earned money in more ways than one. If you have purchased an entry-level data plan, then you must use the iPad carefully or be ready to pay for more Gigabytes. 4G data plans from Verizon and AT&T are already very expensive and many users are complaining that they were surprised to see their 4G monthly data plan being used up in a day, and sometimes in a few hours. According to Verizon Wireless, watching streaming HD video on high resolution Retina display of the new iPad consumes 2GB of data every hour. Beware, speed trap can further increase your expenses and make the new Apple tablet an expensive device to maintain.

Worldwide, the media believed that the new iPad, aka. iPad 3, will be something outstanding as it packs high resolution Retina display, quad-core graphics, a decent camera and 4G LTE support. But, instead of making users crazy about it, the new iPad is wallowing in deep controversy.

Not just one defect, but many issues have risen which cumulatively could account for the downfall of the new iPad. Looking at all these issues we can say that iPad 2 is better than the new iPad in many ways.

Here are the top 6 problems that may cool down the craze for the new Apple tablet. Start the slideshow to check them out. And let us know whether you've encountered any of these problems.
