There is no denying that Disney has played a hand in the childhoods of many and its movies have even transcended generations.

Even if Disney's classic animated movies weren't a part of your childhood, the numbers speak for themselves. Today, the company is worth a reported $130 billion, according to Business Insider, and it shows no signs of stopping, especially with their latest projects -- live-action remakes.

In a time where everyone feels a sense of nostalgia and shows are getting second lives by being rebooted, Disney is cashing in. The children's entertainment company's first live-action remake was in 1994, but they have ramped up their development in recent years with four remakes being released in 2019 including "Aladdin," "The Lion King," "Dumbo," and "Lady and the Tramp."

The next film gearing up to hit theaters is "Mulan," but it certainly won't be the last.

While Disney fans await the news of the new release date for "Mulan," here are 10 live-action movies that fans still have to look forward to in the coming years.

"The Little Mermaid" -- Originally released as an animated movie in 1989, this Disney live-action film will feature singer and actress Halle Bailey as Ariel and Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric.

"Bambi" -- This 1942 film was the fifth from the worldwide recognized company and tells the story of a young deer named Bambi, who joins his new friends, a rabbit named Thumper and a skunk named Flower, in exploring his forest home.

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" -- Based on the German fairy tale by Brothers Grimm, the animated musical fantasy film came out in 1937.

"101 Dalmations" ("Cruella")-- This Disney favorite is gearing up to be a star-studded affair. Emma Stone and Emma Thompson are already tied to the live-action remake as Cruella and the Baroness, respectively.

"James and the Giant Peach" -- What more is there to explain? This is a story about James and his Giant Peach. The latest news on the remake of this 1996 film came in 2016 when Sam Mendes was "in talks" to direct the movie.

"The Sword in the Stone" -- This animation was the final movie released by the studio before Walt Disney’s death. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo will direct from a script written by "Game of Thrones" writer and producer Bryan Cogman.
