‘7 Little Johnstons’ Canceled Or Renewed? Family Teases Return To TLC

After three seasons, TLC viewers have come to know and love the Johnston family behind “7 Little Johnstons.”

While the show may be a hit, the network has yet to renew the series following its fall finale. However, that hasn’t stopped the Johnston clan from speaking out on social media about whether or not they want to return to the series.

The Georgia brood gave some hope to fans looking for a renewal on Wednesday. After one viewer tweeted to the family asking if the show is coming back for another season, the Johnstons said they were interested. “We hope so,” reads their tweet. “Gotta a whole lot more to share!!” The family also tagged TLC in their post and included the hashtags “#unexpectedchanges” and “#newbeginningsfor7LJ.”

The family has since gone on to retweet posts from fans asking for the show to come back. “I will protest if they don’t bring you back,” reads one post shared by the family. The Johnstons’ Twitter account also shared another fan tweet which requested they get a longer episode run should the show return.

Last viewers saw Amber and Trent Johnston and their five children, Anna, Elizabeth, Jonah, Alex and Emma, they were moving out of their home while in search for a new property to better suit their needs. The October season finale also showed a more serious moment for the family, all of who have Achondroplasia Dwarfism, when they were harassed by children while visiting a theme park.

While viewers will have to wait to see if the show will make a comeback for a possible Season 4, fans can keep up with the Johnstons on social media. The family most recently posted about their Halloween celebrations. As opposed to going out on Oct. 31, the brood decided to stay home and be together.

“This year we decided to hang out together, eat chili dogs, watch a movie, candy and cocoa and act spooky!” the family captioned a shot of them enjoying a meal.

Prior to their Halloween post, they shared several shots of their kids in their various costumes over the years.
