Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson is not yet engaged.

The "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" alum, 16, sparked engagement rumors this week after she was spotted wearing a diamond sparkler on her left ring finger.

However, a spokesperson for Thompson shut down the rumors, telling Page Six and E! News that the accessory was "just a ring."

Thompson was featured wearing the diamond ring in a series of photos Page Six published Monday, in which the reality star's sister Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon debuted her newborn twins.

The "Toddlers & Tiaras" alum has been dating her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, 20, for nearly a year. She made their relationship Instagram official in September 2021.

In her since-deleted photo, the couple wore matching gray T-shirts printed with the words "That's How I Roll," smiling while holding hands. Thompson called Carswell her "bae" in the caption.

However, Thompson later deleted the post after her and her beau's four-year age gap sparked backlash online.

Since then, the teen has largely kept her romance with Carswell private and has been very cautious when it comes to what she shares with her followers.

"She wears long lashes. She has long nails and now she's in an interracial relationship," Thompson's mom, Mama June Shannon, told E! News. "She does get a lot of hate on that. She just chooses, to avoid the negativity, not to put everything out just like me."

The 42-year-old TLC star is aware of the criticism surrounding her daughter's relationship with Carswell. However, the "Mama June: From Not to Hot" star has no problem with Thompson dating an older man.

"[Alana] is getting a lot of hate because she's in an interracial relationship, he is older," Shannon said in an interview with TooFab in May. "But at the end of the day, Alana's not that 6-, 7-year-old child y'all fell in love with 11 years ago."

The family matriarch added, "Alana has grown up, she's graduating high school next year, guys! People need to realize that she’s going to be 17 in August."

But while she approves of Carswell and said he treats her daughter well, she has one gripe about him.

"He needs to hold down a job a little bit more," Shannon told Entertainment Tonight of the 20-year-old.
