Amal Clooney and George Clooney took some time off to go on a date and relax together recently. The two of them were spotted taking a helicopter tour of Venice, Italy.

After spending time with the Obamas a few days ago, Amal and George were spotted holding hands, as they made their way to the helicopter from their hotel room in Venice, ET Online reported. Amal wore a white one-shoulder dress, heels and a hat; and George wore a blue polo shirt, white pants and loafers.

The date included a tour of Venice in a helicopter. The two celebrities appeared to be enjoying their time together, and they were prepared for the sunny day with both of them wearing sunglasses.

Amal and George have been spending a lot of time vacationing at the actor’s home on Lake Como. This is the summerhouse for the couple, where they like to spend family time together with their twins Alexander and Ella.

Michelle and Barack Obama were guests at the Clooneys’ Lake Como home recently. The double date included a ride on a boat and a trip to the Amal and George’s favorite restaurants at the hotel Villa D’Este.

An eyewitness told E! News that George and former president Barack looked like “best friends” and they didn’t run out of things to talk about. “ They were laughing the entire time and taking pictures together,” the source said.

Amal wore an orange-and-purple Gucci gown for the double date while Michelle wore black pants and a white top. Their husbands were both dresses in suits, ET Online reported. 20-year-old Malia Obama was also reportedly with her parents.

George and the former president have been friends for a long time. The two became close friends in April 2006 at an event about the crises in Darfur region of Sudan.
