Amber Heard calling her makeup palette a "bruise kit" during testimony has raised eyebrows on social media.

On Monday, the "Aquaman" star returned to the stand in her ex-husband Johnny Depp's ongoing defamation trial against her and said she carried makeup around with her "all the time" during their marriage in order to hide the physical marks and bruises allegedly caused by Depp, Sky News reported. Depp has denied ever hitting Heard and has accused her of being the abuser in the relationship.

Heard showed the court a color correction kit, which she called her "bruise kit," similar to the one she alleges she used while with Depp.

"If you want to cover up a bruise, you obviously put foundation first, concealer and then on top of that I use like a bruise kit," she said, before correcting herself. "Not a bruise kit, it's a theater makeup kit."

Heard's "bruise kit" comment has since gone viral on TikTok, with one clip of that part of her testimony receiving more than 2.5 million "likes" on the platform.

One TikTok user, Elizabeth Wing, called Heard's comment "damning" in a post on the video-sharing platform, explaining: "Color corrector would only go after concealer if you WANTED people to see the color!"

In her video, Wing said, "Bruise kits are used to create bruises in theater. They are not used to hide discoloration or to cover up makeup. Bruise kits make fake bruises."

During her testimony, Heard said she would "counteract whatever color is on the bruise" using her color correction kit. She described the different colors bruises turn over time, saying: "The immediate is red, red shows up straight away so you want to go on the opposite on the color wheel, by dabbing on a bit of the green... After a day or two, you get more purple, so you want to go with redder tones."

However, the TikTok user questioned the order in which Heard said she had applied her makeup, explaining that putting on the color corrector after the foundation and concealer "would make the bruise look really, really obvious."

Wing demonstrated the makeup application described by Heard, first applying foundation and concealer on her hand and then a color corrector on top.

WHOA. As someone who knows makeup, this is very damning. Color corrector would only go after concealer if you WANTED people to see the color! #johnnydepp #amberheard #johnnydeppisinnocent #johnnydepptiktok #johnnydeppvsamberheard #johnnydepptrial #johnnydeppcourt #therapistsoftiktok #makeup #colorcorrection @Milani #greenscreenvideo #greenscreen

Other TikTok users agreed with Wing's observations and comments, with one writing: "Color corrector is ALWAYS underneath."

"A 'bruise kit' for theater/acting would imply it's for making bruises, not covering them up," another commented.

Photos of Heard with red marks, bruises and swelling on her face — the result, she alleges, of her and Depp's final fight — were shown in court Monday.

Melanie Inglessis, Heard's former makeup artist, also testified Wednesday that she found the actress with several light bruises under her eyes and on her nose while helping her get ready for an appearance on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" on Dec. 16, 2015, New York Post reported.

Heard previously alleged that Depp attacked her on Dec. 15, 2015, and that she covered the aftermath — including a busted lip — with makeup.

The makeup artist described how she helped Heard cover the bruises with makeup inside the Los Angeles penthouse the actress shared with Depp.

"I just did makeup, just a little heavier … We covered the discoloration, the bruises, with a little slightly heavier concealer," Inglessis testified.

A number of social media users rallied behind Heard following the release of the photos and the makeup artist's testimony, with some praising the actress for her professionalism.

"I saw the close-up photo of Amber's bruises. You can see the discoloration BENEATH the skin sebaceous glands in the dermal layer below the eye. Makeup would cover this, and you can't create that with makeup because you wouldn't see them. (I'm a nurse). #istandwithamberheard," one Twitter user wrote.

"Here we witness two things clearly," another Heard supporter tweeted. "[First], Amber Heard's swollen lip even after makeup. [Second], her dedication towards her work even after got physically assaulted by her ex-husband."

Depp is suing Heard for $50 million over a 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which she called herself a victim of domestic violence. Though he wasn't named in the piece, the actor alleged that it ruined his career and cost him his roles in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise and the "Fantastic Beasts" movie series.

The trial continues.
