‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ Episode 6 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In 'Room 33'? [VIDEO]

Hotel Cortez is crawling with monsters, and it appears as if another one will be introduced in “American Horror Story” Season 5, episode 6. The mysteries of the spooky Los Angeles building will continue to unravel -- and with deadly consequences.

Fans of the FX mini-series know that Ramona (Angela Bassett) and Donovan (Matt Bomer) have officially teamed up to take town Countess Elizabeth (Lady Gaga). However, their plan involves Iris (Kathy Bates), who ended episode 5 with a new outlook on life. Will she continue to be manipulated and taken advantage of by her son? Or will Iris finally take a stand for herself? Whatever the case may be, the synopsis for episode 6, titled “Room 33,” teases that Ramona and Donovan will be enacting their “plan for revenge.”

Meanwhile, Liz Taylor’s (Denis O’Hare) story will continue to unfold. Last week viewers learned how she got to Hotel Cortez, and this week’s installment will potentially introduce a love interest.

But the big reveal in episode 6 will be what’s hiding in room 33. Although Hotel Cortez has plenty of haunting rooms, room 33 has remained a mystery for now. The only reference so far came from Iris, who previously said that she had to “feed that thing” living there.

Who or what is behind the door? All we know so far is that “American Horror Story” co-creator Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Weekly that “the thing” living in room 33 is named Bartholomew.
