Angelina looked effortlessly elegant when she stepped out in Los Angeles earlier this week.

Jolie has always preferred muted, neutral colors for her clothing, usually wearing black or whites and creams whether for formal events or casual strolls around town. It's no surprise that when she went on an outing with her son Knox, she went for another all-neutral look.

In new photos of Jolie, the Oscar-winning actress looked absolutely chic and elegant in a cream coat, which Vogue noted was tailored to look both sleek and relaxed. Underneath the gorgeous coat, Jolie had on a ribbed cream tube top and a knee-length white silk skirt.

Jolie paired this outfit with beige pointed pumps and a structured black leather top-handle bag. She accessorized with her usual aviator sunglasses and a dainty pearl necklace. Check out photos of Jolie's elegant look here.

Meanwhile, Jolie's ex-husband, Brad Pitt, also stepped out in LA this week. Like the actress, Pitt also seemed to prefer muted colors as he was spotted wearing a gray pageboy cap, olive green shirt, black jacket and gray jeans. The actor paired the ensemble with a cloth printed bag, white sneakers, and aviator sunglasses He also seemed to have skipped several days of shaving as he sported a thick beard.

It's been two years since the ex-couple ended their relationship after Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt. Prior to the filing, Jolie and Pitt were together for a decade and married for two years. They have three biological children together: Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10. They also adopted Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 13.

Though it's been a while since they've parted ways, Jolie's and Pitt's names are still being linked to each other by tabloids.

In December, a report by Hollywood Life claimed that Pitt was reportedly "disappointed" over the change in Jolie's personality since their breakup. A questionable source told the tabloid that the actor apparently didn't like that Jolie seemed to be parading their children around to "make it look like she is an amazing mother.”

“He feels like she is insincere in every way. — From how she takes the kids out in public to how she is handling the divorce, Brad feels like Angelina has been going out of her way to control how her fans view her, all while painting herself as a saint,” an unnamed tipster told the tabloid.

However, the tabloid didn't provide any proof supporting the claims except for the source's statements, so it is likely there is no truth to the report.
