Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been hailed as the new King and Queen by royal fans.

On the official Sussex Royal Instagram account, the couple shared some pictures by the Love the Oceans (LTO) non-profit organization. The move was done to help shine a light on the charity. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also marked International Whale Shark Day to raise awareness on LTO’s latest campaign.

“You may wonder – why protect a whale shark? These creatures are classified as endangered, meaning that they face a very high risk of extinction in the wild… The estimated global population of whale sharks has decreased by 50 percent over the last 70 years due to illegal fisheries hunting these beautiful species for their fins,” they captioned the snaps.

Shortly after royal fans read Prince Harry and Markle’s post, they couldn’t help but praise the couple for their efforts.

“Another awesome organization I’m happy to follow and donate to. Thank you for bringing so much attention to these causes,” one person commented. “Meg and Harry are Queen and King,” one person wrote.

But despite Prince Harry and Markle’s efforts to help save the world one step at a time, they still haven’t been free off criticisms. During a recent interview with Page Six, style editor Elana Fishman explained how she thinks the royal couple came under fire for their recent actions.

Last week, it was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex took a private jet to their vacation destinations. Kristin McNamara, the senior social editor for Page Six, said that Prince Harry’s latest comments about carbon footprint were also a huge mess.

McNamara said that Prince Harry and Markle should’ve known that their recent deeds would’ve been a PR nightmare because they are not new to the industry. Fishman also said that it seems that the couple has not learned anything, but she also reiterated the fact that it was Elton John who lent his private jet to Prince Harry and Markle.
