Are country stars Tim McGraw and Faith Fill getting a $35 million divorce? The rumors that the singers are heading for Splitsville are false, their reps said, according to the Huffington Post.

The stories apparently started after McGraw, 46, was accused of cheating on his wife of 17 years with 23-year-old pop sensation Taylor Swift. Swift opened shows for the country veteran in the beginning of her career, and Hill supposedly suspected they had a “sexual chemistry.”

The gossip snowballed when McGraw and Hill were plastered on the cover of the National Enquirer and McGraw supposedly said he would leave the marriage. In the tabloid, sources said he felt like he was being “mistreated” by his wife and was “threatening to walk.” The insider reportedly added, “Faith thinks she has Tim under her thumb, but she may be in for a big surprise!”

Zap2it.com quoted the Enquirer article and added that Hill and McGraw had hit “rock bottom” but that Hill's reps “scoffed” at the rumor and McGraw’s rep said it was “totally false and ridiculous.”

With infidelity claims swirling around the Web, McGraw recently sat down with Huffington Post and shared his “secret” to how he and his wife have a “long, happy marriage.” He said:

“It’ll be 17 years in October ... The easy answer is just to shut up and not say anything, that’s easy. But really it’s a lot of give and take and it’s a lot of no ultimatums.”

But his proclamation didn’t stop the rumor mill from buzzing. Neither of the stars addressed the rumors on Twitter, but it might have been a good idea. A handful of fans took to the mini-blog to discuss the accusations. Check out their comments below:
