Ariana Grande’s mom, Joan Grande, recently released a touching statement following the bombing in Manchester.

On her Twitter account, Joan said that she has spent the past week in reflective thought prayer and deep sorrow. Her daughter’s concert made headlines last week after an attack took place right after the singer went backstage. The blast killed 22 people and injured several others.

Joan concluded her lengthy post by thanking all of those who helped the victims and their families in any way at that night of the bombing. According to TMZ, Ariana’s mom herself helped usher concert goers to safety immediately after the bomb exploded. The publication also revealed that Joan was already heading backstage to reunite with her daughter when she heard the explosion.

Following the incident, the “One Last Time” hitmaker also took her thoughts to Twitter and said that she was feeling “broken.” Other singers and celebrities also posted touching messages directed at Ariana and the victims and their families via their respective social media accounts.

Meanwhile, the “Side to Side” singer will soon return to Manchester for a benefit concert after some fans criticized her for immediately fleeing England after the attack. Ariana soon announced to her fans that she will be back on Sunday, June 4. According to the Daily Mail, organizers are inviting other artists and celebrities to participate in the event. Live Nation will be producing the benefit gig, and Ariana herself and her manager, Scooter Braun, are reaching out to other high-profile stars.

In other news, the singer’s management released an official statement on Wednesday announcing the postponement of her “Dangerous Woman” tour. Ariana’s team also confirmed the cancellation of her performances in London, Belgium, Poland, Germany and Switzerland that were all supposed to take place in June.

The rest of her performances in France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica and Mexico are all expected to push through as scheduled. Ariana will also be performing in the Philippines on August 21, New Zealand on September 2, Australia on September 4, 5, 8, 9 and 12, Singapore on September 16, Taiwan on September 19 and Hong Kong on September 21.
