The first three seasons of “Attack on Titan” was adopted by Wit Studio; however, for its fourth season, MAPPA would be in charge of the anime’s production, Anime Trending reported. Pony Canyon was the one who released the new trailer of “Attack on Titan: The Final Season.”
Protagonist Eren Jaeger and his friends found out the truth behind the war between the people of Marley and Eldia at the end of “Attack on Titan” season 3. Without putting too much spoiler on the upcoming season, Comic Book only reported that “Attack on Titan: The Final Season” would “cap-off” the war between two factions.
The “Attack on Titan” season 4 trailer depicted a bloody battle, the arrival of new warriors and the creation of a new world. It also hinted Ymir’s appearance. Ymir, a former member of the Survey Corps who can transform into a Jaw Titan, knows the true nature of the Titans and the history of the world outside the Walls.
“The truth is questioned because someone stole the founding titan inside the island of Paradis!” the narration said as the trailer climaxed. “He is… Eren Jaeger!”
The “Attack on Titan” season 4 was due to drop in the Fall of 2020 but the anime’s release was delayed. There had been speculations as to the reason for the delay but given the current situation, it could be postponed further, Gizmo Blaze reported.
However, a report from the news outlet, Micky, indicated that “Attack in Titan: The Final Season” could be watched on streaming platforms by Oct. 2020. The exact day as to when is yet to be confirmed.
