“Avengers: Endgame” has been super secretive, but Marvel Studios finally released a clip from the movie. It seems like it reveals their initial strategy for how they could bring back their dead friends.

The video, of which an extended version debuted at CinemaCon, was shown on “Good Morning America” on Monday. It reveals Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) working with the heroes. Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) looks at a screen and says that the stones have been used again, presumably by Thanos (Josh Brolin).

“So let’s get them. Use them to bring everyone back,” Captain Marvel says.

Captain America/Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Black Widow are on board. Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and James Rhodes/War Machine (Don Cheadle) are apprehensive. Bruce questions how it could go differently than before.

“Because before you didn’t have me,” Carol says.

“Hey, new girl, everybody in this room is about that superhero life. And if you don’t mind my asking, where the hell have you been all this time?” Rhodey asks.

“There are a lot of other planets in the universe, and unfortunately, they didn’t have you guys,” she reasons.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) comes up and reaches for Stormbreaker, and the ax whizzes past Captain Marvel to the God of Thunder. She doesn’t flinch. “I like this one,” Thor says.

Captain America indicates that he is ready to take on the villain once again.

It looks like they’re going to Thanos to get the Infinity Stones. It seems like a logical plan, but will it work? “Avengers: Endgame” directors Joe and Anthony Russo have been very particular about what fans know, refusing to even reveal if there are post-credits scenes. They’ve been guarding spoilers, and it just doesn’t seem likely that they would reveal exactly how the Avengers save the day.

It looks like they did not even reveal everyone who is in this scene. At CinemaCon in Las Vegas last week, the scene debuted and included Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and Nebula (Karen Gillan). Nebula will help the heroes track down her father.

Plus, fans have been noticing that the trailers reveal a time jump. Natasha is still sporting her blonde bob in this scene, which means that it’s shortly after Thanos’ decimation. The trailers have revealed that Nat’s blonde grows out as her natural red, and some scenes in the trailer even show Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) with some grey in his hair. Even if they do eventually manage to get the Infinity Stones, erasing Thanos’ destruction won’t be a quick and easy mission.

“Avengers: Endgame” hits theaters April 26.
