How will a kid, particularly Spider-Man (Tom Holland), fare alongside grown-up superheroes in “Avengers: Infinity War”?

Spider-Man already hobnobbed with some of the Avengers in “Captain America: Civil War.” His role might have been small then, but he made such a huge impact that Marvel President Kevin Feige teased that he will make the same waves in the upcoming “Avengers” film. The only difference this time, he said, is that Spider-Man has developed a backstory with his standalone film, “Homecoming.”

“I think it might feel bigger a little bit because of ‘Homecoming’ and because of what people know from it, but it’s about on par with [Civil War],” Feige told Fandango.

When asked who else will join Spider-Man in “Infinity War,” Feige decided to play coy. “There’s a pretty big crew already in those movies, but you might keep an eye out,” he said.

It was already teased earlier that Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie from “Thor: Ragnarok” might be the one to join the star-studded cast of “Infinity War.” The actress was spotted by an avid fan named Fahr Sindram at the location where the upcoming “Avengers” movies are being filmed — Durham, England. The fan even managed to take a selfie with Thompson. While this selfie does not guarantee anything, it does provide a big clue regarding her involvement in future Marvel movies.

When asked earlier by Entertainment Weekly about Valkyrie’s future in Marvel, Thompson already hinted that it’s possible she will appear in more movies aside from “Thor: Ragnarok.” “You never know where people will pop up. In the next phase, the hope is to find ways to interweave all these characters, and certainly with ‘Infinity War,’ those are the culmination of a lot of work since ‘Iron Man,’” she said. “She’s part of the tapestry now. For me, it’s exciting to join at a time with young actors like Brie Larson and Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan. We’re all hopefully going to meet in one of these movies.”

“Avengers: Infinity War” will hit the big screen on May 4, 2018.
