Kingston Pharma, LLC has recalled all lots of DG Baby Gripe Water herbal supplement with organic ginger and fennel extracts. The recalled baby supplement has an undissolved citrus flavonoid, which could result in swallowing difficulties for sensitive individuals.

The baby supplement was distributed throughout the U.S. by Dollar General Corporation and is packaged in 4-ounce amber bottles with white plastic caps and a safety seal. They have an oral syringe and are labeled with a UPC Code of 8 5495400246 3.

Consumers that have purchased the affected baby supplement should stop using it and discard it. Though, according to the company, the affected baby supplement “should not be considered hazardous.”

The company has received one report of an infant that was one-week old that had difficulty swallowing the product, in addition to three complaints about the undissolved citrus flavonoid.
