“The Bachelor” ended on a cliffhanger this week and it appears the drama will pick up right where it left off when episode 3 premieres on Monday, Jan. 18.

Rose Ceremony

ABC’s synopsis for the upcoming Season 25 installment reveals that Sarah, who appeared to be having a medical episode last viewers saw, will be “at the center of an emotional firestorm.” This firestorm is said to envelop Matt and the other women at the rose ceremony elimination.

While the network did not reveal which women will get the boot, Reality Steve has noted he thinks Illeana and Sydney will be eliminated. He has also speculated that Khaylah could soon find her way out of the competition.

Group Date

Matt’s romantic journey will continue when he goes on a “steamy” group date. The date will see the women write their own “hot love scenes” with Matt and read them in front of a live audience.

The outing will feature a Bachelor Nation alum, Ashley Iaconetti Haibon. Episodic photos show that Rachael, Bri, Anna, Kaili, Lauren, Serena C., Katie, Khaylah, Kit, and this season’s villain, “Queen” Victoria, will also be included.

One-On-One Date

Serena P. will get Matt’s third solo date of the season. The promo for episode 3 shows the two enjoying a sunset picnic and getting cozy in a hot tub. ABC’s synopsis teases their time together results in the contestant discovering that her “initial feelings for Matt could develop into something more serious.”

Unexplained Drama

The synopsis also teases that Matt’s “biggest fear” will come to pass in the episode, leaving him “devastated.”

“I felt those feelings with her, but it hurts,” a visible troubled Matt utters in the promo.

Elsewhere in the preview, Victoria is shown continuing to rattle the other women. After accusing her roommate Marylynn of “toxic” bullying, she’ll continue to express her upset with her castmates in episode 3. New scenes show her going head-to-head with Katie and Kit.
