Reality Steve has spoken.

Following reports that Clare Crawley, ABC’s next “The Bachelorette” lead, is looking to quit the series, the show’s longtime spoiler blogger king is speaking out.

On Wednesday, two weeks after ABC started filming the reality series’ sixteenth season, Carbone revealed to his followers who Clare had selected as her coveted first impression rose winner. In a tweet, Carbone shared that Dale Moss, a 31-year-old former NFL player from South Dakota, has secured the honor, despite earlier reports that he had been eliminated on night one.

The following day, reports began swirling outside of the Reality Steve camp that Clare wanted to prematurely quit her “The Bachelorette” season due to her feelings for Dale. Reacting to Life & Style Magazine’s unnamed sources, which claimed Clare “refused to come out of her room” to film because she has “already fallen in love,” Carbone called the report “dumb.”

“She signed a contract for the show. You can’t just quit in the middle of it,” he tweeted late Thursday. “If that were the case, PLENTY of other former leads would’ve done that once they knew who wanted early on.”

ABC and Clare have yet to speak out about the latest rumor.

The speculated on-set drama comes after a bumpy start for the series. Originally scheduled to begin filming in March, the show was shut down at the last-minute due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, unlike past installments, the new season is expected to contain its contestants in one location. The series is reported to be filming at La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, California.

Clare’s season of “The Bachelorette” will air Tuesdays this fall on ABC.
