Ever wondered what Barack Obama is watching on television? In a recent interview, the former president of the United States revealed his TV watch list at the moment.

During his interview with Entertainment Weekly, Obama revealed that his television watch list is a mix of superhero dramas and a fantasy comedy. Speaking with the outlet, the 59-year-old politician revealed that "The Boys" and "Watchmen" are two of his favorite shows.

Praising the shows based on superhero comics, Obama said, "'Watchmen' and 'The Boys,' for how they turn superhero conventions on their heads to lay bare issues of race, capitalism, and the distorting effects of corporate power and mass media. Oh, and the NBA playoffs — because it's hoops!"

He also added "Breaking Bad" spinoff "Better Call Saul" to his list for its "great characters and examination of the dark side of the American dream."

As for his comedy show of choice, he mentioned that he enjoyed Michael Schur's "The Good Place."

"It's a wise and sweet combination of goofy comedy and big philosophical questions," Obama said about the award-winning comedy show.

Obama's praises got the attention of the creators and cast members of the shows he mentioned. Eric Kripke, the creator of hit Amazon Prime Video show "The Boys," took to Twitter to respond to the former POTUS' comments.

"Ummm. You guys? HOLY. SHIT. Thanks for watching, @BarackObama. If you ever wanna hang out, hit me up in my DM's. (But seriously, this is amazing, THANKS for the shout out)," Kripke wrote.

The series' main cast member Jack Quaid, who plays the role of Hughie, was quick to react with excitement, too.

"I was today years old when I found out president @BarackObama watches @TheBoysTV. Can I stay this age forever?" Quaid tweeted.

Meanwhile, Antony Starr, who portrays the role of John or Homelander in the series, said, "If the boys is good enough for Obama…it's good enough."

In addition, "The Good Place" star D'Arcy Carden, who plays the role of Janet, also responded to the news.

"The first time I heard @BarackObama liked @nbcthegoodplace I fell to the floor. For real," Carden commented.

Obama also talked about his writing process for his latest memoir "A Promised Land" in the interview. He revealed that his favorite drink to get him through a tough day of writing was Honest Tea's Green Dragon.
