Bruce Wayne appears alone again in a new picture from “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The character is seen standing in a field near Wayne Manor while dark clouds gather in the sky above him.

According to a report by Batman-News, director Zack Snyder posted this new picture from the movie on his personal social media account. The photo shows Bruce [Ben Affleck] walking around a field of overgrown grass, which may be the area surrounding the abandoned and dilapidated Wayne Manor.

The report notes that photographer Clay Enos, who follows Snyder’s social media account, usually makes the images shared by the director public. But the new image has been shared by one of the director’s other followers, so it is still unclear whether the image is authentic.

A report by ComicBook notes that the image builds on Wayne Manor’s “depressing vibe” that has been teased in the trailers of the movie. The report also notes that Bruce may be seen as a “moody” individual in the movie.

The director reportedly described the character as “older” and “more broken” when he pitched the concept of the movie to Affleck, ScreenCrush reports.

Affleck described the conflict between the two superheroes in the movie as a “paradigm shift” for Bruce. Affleck explained that while Bruce has been fighting crime for many years, he is now confronted with an enemy who is “transcendent” to him, and when faced with such an enemy the character will feel that stopping bank robberies may not be a priority.

According to the plot synopsis of the movie, while the two superheroes take on each other a “new threat” will emerge and put the whole mankind in danger. One of the main villains in the movie is Lex Luthor [Jesse Eisenberg].

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is slated to be released on March 25, 2016, in the U.S. Cast members include Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
