Ben Affleck took a break from his rekindled romance with Jennifer Lopez to reunite with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their kids over the weekend. Affleck was spotted on Sunday celebrating Father’s Day with his family.

The 48-year-old was at his home and spending time with his mother Chris, as well as Garner and their three children: Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9.

“Ben spent Father’s Day with his mom, Chris, and his kids at his house,” a source told E! News. “In the afternoon, Jennifer Garner dropped off their son Sam to hang out with Ben. Sam was excited to be there and ran inside.”

Although the stars are no longer together, it appears they have been able to build a solid family unit. “Jen gave Chris Affleck a hug and kiss,” the source revealed.

“They all seemed very cordial and happy to see each other. It looked like Ben had a nice low-key Father’s Day at home with his family.”

Those close to Garner previously told Us Weekly the actress supported Affleck and Lopez’s rekindled romance. “J. Lo has Jennifer Garner’s seal of approval,” the insider said. “J. Lo thinks Jennifer is a kind and wonderful person and an amazing mother.”

Affleck’s quiet Father’s Day celebration comes one week after he joined Lopez and her family for her sister Linda’s birthday dinner.

“Ben was grinning ear to ear. He sipped a diet coke and was laughing across the table with everyone. He fit in well, and everyone seemed to love having him around,” the source said.

The actor reportedly made quite an impression on the group, which also included Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme.

“Her kids really like Ben and think he’s funny and fun to be around,” another source shared. “He’s totally won the family over with his charm.”

While Lopez and Affleck have been spotted out together and photographed on dates, the two Hollywood stars have yet to comment on their relationship.
