KEY POINTS

  • Nacho's life is in danger in "Better Call Saul" Season 6
  • The fans feel sympathy for him
  • Gus may end up killing Nacho

Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton) will be out for revenge in “Better Call Saul” Season 6. While Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) is expected to survive because he appeared in “Breaking Bad” series, things are not looking good for Nacho Varga (Michael Mando).

According to a theory by Screen Rant, there is a chance that Nacho will survive because the show has a “distinct sense of justice.” Nacho has been a man who wanted to make some extra money, just like Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), but he got himself deeply involved with the cartel and his life is now in danger because of his work as a double agent for Gus (Giancarlo Esposito).

Nacho wants to get out of the drug dealing life, mostly because he wants to save his father. This aspect of the character has won him some sympathy among the fans, and it is a good reason to keep him alive.

According to the theory, Nacho’s journey in “Better Call Saul” Season 6 will mirror that of Jesse. Both wanted to get out of the game and live a simple life that doesn’t require them to constantly look over their shoulders.

While Nacho could drive off to freedom and live a life of obscurity, the fact that he didn’t appear in “Breaking Bad” suggests that it is likely that he will die. The character who may end up killing him can be Gus, Screen Rant reported.

With Lalo suspecting Nacho’s involvement in the assassination attempt, the latter is no longer useful to Gus. The only way to keep Nacho from spilling the beans is for Gus to have him killed.

One character who will survive on the spin-off, only to die later is Don Eladio (Steven Bauer). According to Screen Rant, “Better Call Saul” has foreshadowed the cartel boss’ death by showing how he loves gifts and some showmanship from his business partners. The character also loves his drink, which will lead to his death eventually.

Production of “Better Call Saul” Season 6 has yet to begin. The show is set to air in 2021. The producers have yet to announce a release date.
