‘Big Bang Theory’
How will Sheldon (Jim Parsons) help Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) with their marital issues in "Big Bang Theory" Season 10, episode 13? CBS

“Big Bang Theory” Season 10 aired a replay on Thursday, Jan. 12, but CBS still managed to receive relatively high ratings.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sitcom led the night with adults aged 18 to 49 years old. Lagging closely behind CBS was NBC with America Ferrera’s comedy, “Superstore.” As of late, it is unclear why a new episode of “Big Bang Theory” didn’t air this week, but the hit CBS sitcom is expected to return on Jan. 19.

In “The Romance Recalibration,” Leonard (Johnny Galecki) will ask Sheldon (Jim Parsons) for help in fixing his relationship with Penny (Kaley Cuoco).

In the teaser, Penny seems upset over Leonard’s recent behavior. While she’s busy doing some things in front of the TV, Leonard burps loudly beside her. When Penny raises her concerns over Leonard’s deeds, the latter gets scared that their issues could blow up and worsen. In order to prevent this from happening, Leonard asks Sheldon to help him come up with a relationship agreement. Sheldon is more than willing to help because this is something that he’s done with his girlfriend, Amy (Mayim Bialik).

Also in the clip, Amy laughs with Sheldon after Leonard tells him that he needs help. When Penny asks Amy why she’s laughing hysterically, she reveals that this is also part of their agreement. She has to laugh at everything that Sheldon thinks is funny as her way of showing that she supports him.

Meanwhile, Penny and Amy will also have the opportunity to bond with each other in episode 13. Since Penny is upset with Leonard, she won’t ask him to join her on their usual spa weekend. Instead, she will ask Amy to join her.
