The Ring of Replacement gives the houseguest power to participate in any veto competition they want this season. However, it can only be used once. And just like the first prize that Paul Abrahamian received, this one also comes with a catch. “Big Brother” fans have the chance to vote for the houseguest they want to give this privilege to via the show’s official website.

It is important to note that each of the 16 houseguests will only get the chance to enter the Den of Temptation once throughout the show. This means that Paul, who received the Pendant of Protection, is no longer qualified for future offerings. There are still 15 other houseguests in the “Big Brother” house who are waiting for their chance to nab one. However, there is one person who wants to wait a while before getting his own. Kevin Schlehuber previously said that he doesn’t want to receive a privilege this early in the game.

The dad-of-seven already took advantage of the first temptation and earned himself $25,000. But this also meant that one of the original houseguests was sent home. Paul took Cameron Heard’s spot as a returning vet this season.

Meanwhile, after an exhilarating Power of Veto (POV) competition, Alex Ow managed to get herself out of the chopping block after being nominated by Cody Nickson. Prior to the nominations and following Megan Lowder’s shocking exit, Cody reached out to Alex and convinced her to join their group. Cody said that he respects Alex so much because she is a competition beast. They were last two contestants to let go of the rope while standing on the trapeze.

Unfortunately, Alex doesn’t want to work with Cody, and she made this clear by telling him the truth. She also told Cody that if she doesn’t leave the game, she will be targeting Cody and his allies next. Now that Alex has taken herself off the block, Christmas Abbott has taken her spot. She is competing for a spot in the game alongside Jillian Parker.

On Monday, however, Christmas injured her foot, and she is expected to get an MRI on Wednesday, July 5. The results will confirm whether or not Christmas can still stay in the “Big Brother” house.

“Big Brother” Season 19 airs Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
