The chapter opens with a flashback and Morgen's magic attribute is revealed. Morgen uses Light Magic against opponents.

Yami Sukehiro and Morgen become Magic Knights. Meanwhile, Nacht and Morgen's parents are shown to be practicing demonology. Yami and Nacht may not be best of friends now, but they got along well back in the day.

The flashback in "Black Clover" Chapter 286 shows that Nacht is ready to start a demon summoning ritual. Morgen tries to stop him but fails.

The demon appears and starts to take away the life force of people. Sensing danger, Morgen sacrifices himself for his brother Nacht. Morgen dies and he could not see his brother joining the Magic Knights.
