'Black Clover' Chapter 335 Spoilers: Asta's Fate Looks Murky After The Lethal Hit

Asta's battle against Lucius in the final arc takes a dark turn after the latter's deadly strike.

The newly-released chapter has ended with a cliffhanger indicating that Asta is in deep trouble and needs assistance. Lucius has, forcefully, taken Sister Lily hostage.

With his back against the wall, Asta, who looks badly wounded, will have to find a way to come out of this alive and fight back in "Black Clover" Chapter 335.

Chapter 334 showcased that Asta's Devil Union can get rid of massive spells and he was extremely powerful in magic battles.

But, Asta can only hold this form for five minutes. Interestingly, he decided to compensate for that by utilizing Devil Union on only one part of his body. This allowed him to extend the technique from five to 10 minutes.

The Devil Union got denser and stronger as he charged at Lucius. He was ready to strike and warned Lily to escape harm's way. Meanwhile, Lucius' spell could manipulate time and was considered invincible.

Nothing in the world could work against time, but anti-magic was the natural opponent of Lucius' invincible spell.

Meanwhile, in "Black Clover" Chapter 334, Asta yelled at his friends to run away. Lucius noted that Asta and Lily were becoming a nuisance and he needed to stop them.

However, when he touched Asta to activate his spell, it was cut down by the latter's anti-magic. Lucius figured that he could only use physical attacks to beat the anti-magic.

Soon, heavy hand-to-hand combat between the two started. Asta went after the opponent with his Demon-Slasher Katana and he was hoping that it would work.

Meanwhile, Lucius was expecting a powerful attack because he knew Asta's strength was a legit threat to world peace.

As the chapter progressed, Lucius unleashed his evil Soul Magic and decided to use it to control Lily. Asta was shocked to see Lily becoming Lucius' puppet as she told Asta to die for the sake of world peace.
