ABC’s “Black-ish” might be in its fourth season, but the laughs aren’t slowing down one bit.

In the last episode, “Advance to Go (Collect $200),” the Johnsons had a family game night and things got pretty intense. It was hard for them to choose the right game, but, in the end, Monopoly won out.

Even though it was family game night, Junior’s (Marcus Scriber) girlfriend, Megan, joined in on the fun, though with all the nasty looks and mean comments that Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) was giving her the whole time, it didn’t seem like it was too much fun for either of them.

As the night went on, while some partnerships were formed, others were dissolved, as Dre (Anthony Anderson) decided Bow was bad luck and gave her to another team. The competition got fierce and the fighting words came out between all the players. Plus, Bow made it abundantly clear how she felt about Megan. It didn’t help Megan’s case that she kept coming between Junior and his mom.

The game night ended when Dre lost the game and had a meltdown, but the best part is that he lost at the hands of Jack (Miles Brown), who he never thought would be good enough to outsmart him.

At the very end of the episode, it was time for the family to go trick-or-treating and they all dressed up in “Star Wars” costumes for the family Halloween affair.

Noticeably absent from the last episode was Zoey (Yara Shahidi), which is something viewers might have to get used to as she makes her way to college and her own spin-off series, “Grown-ish” which premieres on Freeform in January.

In the next and fifth episode of Season 4, titled “Public Fool,” an incident at school will threaten Junior’s future at the school he loves so much, Valley Glen Prep. Will he be able to fix the problem and come out from it unscathed? Or will his educational future be harmed?

This episode was written by Kenya Barris and directed by Kevin Bray.
