  • Lisa Manoban's caption "What's My Name" became a trending topic on Twitter
  • Lisa's album is set to  be released in August
  • She is the third Blackpink member who will release a solo album

It is still a month before the release of her solo album but Blackpink’s Lisa Manoban has already set Twitter on a roll as she posted on her Instagram story what seems to be the title of her upcoming song.

In her much-talked-about Instagram story Sunday, she shared a photo of two men wearing black jackets with the words “Black Label” printed on them.

According to Koreaboo, Black Label is an associate record label under YG Entertainment, Blackpink’s management agency which was co-founded by Blackpink songwriter, Teddy Park. Apparently, Lisa was hinting about the producers of her upcoming solo project.

The next photo showed a sound file with her name on it (“Lalisa”). At the lower right corner of the photo were the words: “What’s My Name?” Within an hour, Lisa became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter with the hashtag: “What’s My Name?”

Koreaboo tallied the total number of tweets to 200 thousand just an hour after she posted the photos on her Instagram story.

“Always remember to collect votes for #LISA . Let’s prepare for Lisa Solo. Download all voting apps & subscribe to premium streaming accounts. All are waiting LISA SOLO is COMING WHAT’S MY NAME?” Twitter user @forlalisa_th said.

“Who is still on trending? Keep tweeting!! WHAT’S MY NAME Keep Burning again Blinks & Lilies! LISA IS COMING LALISA MANOBAN LISA SOLO LS1 IS COMING,” fan @priyaa_192 said.

Following the footsteps of fellow Blackpink members Jennie Kim and Rosé, Lisa is the third member of the successful quartet who is slated to release a solo album soon. Earlier this month, YG entertainment said Lisa was already filming the music video for her debut solo offering.

According to a Soompi report, YG Entertainment said that the Blackpink members will make a solo debut in this order: Rosé, Lisa Manoban and Kim Ji Soo. The first member to debut was Jennie who released an album titled, “Solo,” in 2018.

In March this year, Rosé unveiled her first album, “R” which received 400,000 pre-orders within four days after its announcement, according to South China Morning Post.

Blackpink debuted in 2016 and has spawned several hits, including “Let’s kill this love” and “How you like that?”
