After meeting on “The Voice” and going through their individual divorces, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani seem to be head over heels in love with one another. Now that they have a solid bond, the couple feels they are ready to take the next step in their relationship and add a baby into their lives.

A source close to Shelton told Us Weekly that he and Stefani “will get married one day,” however, “right now they are hyper-focused on getting pregnant.” After two years of dating, the couple is ready to start a family together.

Stefani already has three children, Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9, and Apollo, 3, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, but she and Shelton are “incredibly hopeful” that the 48-year-old singer will be able to have another child, considering she gave birth to Apollo only a few years ago. “They believe there is still a chance for Gwen,” the insider said.

Shelton was previously married to fellow country singer Miranda Lambert, though the two split in 2015. Sources close to Shelton told the publication that starting a family was one of the reasons for the former couple’s divorce.

The “Came Here To Forget” singer has always wanted to be a father, and since becoming serious with Stefani, he has expressed his desire. “Blake told Gwen he does want kids of his own and Gwen was willing to try. With her, Blake has the exact relationship and family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda. Gwen’s everything he wants.”

Although the two have agreed to work on starting a family, it hasn’t been easy for the couple to conceive. Sources revealed that the pair actually started trying for a baby a year ago, but have not been successful in their efforts.

“It’s something that they really want and it’s just not working out the way they wanted it to,” the insider explained.

While this has not been an easy journey for Shelton and Stefani, the pair remains supportive of one another. “They struggle they’re facing is making them stronger,” the source said. “They are so committed to one another and protective of one another.”

Although the couple may be in love and ready to add a new member to their family, it doesn’t mean that Shelton will leave “The Voice” when he haves a baby.

The country artist’s fellow judge on the show, Adam Levine, has appeared on every season of the singing competition, and welcomed his first child without departing from the series. The Maroon 5 frontman is also currently expecting his second baby, and has already signed on to appear on Season 14 of the series.

While it doesn’t seem like Shelton with depart from “The Voice” anytime soon, fans can catch the star on Season 13 of the series which airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
