Brad Pitt is reportedly losing hope amid his bitter custody battle with Angelina Jolie over four of their children, who are minors.

The former Hollywood couple are parents to Maddox, 20; Pax, 18; Zahara, 17; Shiloh, 15; and 13-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. They have been embroiled in an ongoing custody battle and have yet to reach a final agreement.

Sources close to Pitt told Us Weekly that he “has been lamenting to pals” about the challenging legal process with Jolie.

Insiders revealed Pitt believes Jolie “will never agree to joint custody and is going to run out the clock until the kids are 18.”

Pitt thinks Jolie is hoping their kids “will want nothing to do with” him by the time they legally become adults. However, “Brad will not give up the fight,” according to sources.

Jolie first filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, and although they were declared legally single in 2019, they have yet to reach a divorce and child custody settlement.

News of Pitt’s fears over his custody battle come after reports that Jolie may have filed a lawsuit against the FBI investigation into an alleged incident involving the actor and their son, Maddox, shortly before Jolie filed for divorce.

Jolie is believed to be "Jane Doe" in the lawsuit against the FBI regarding a 2016 investigation that took place over an altercation on a private jet.

The FBI closed the investigation without charging anyone months after it was opened, but the complainant is requesting documents regarding the probe.

Sources claimed Jolie was using the lawsuit to hurt Pitt amid their legal battle. “There is little precedent for the FBI sharing information about an investigation that was closed with no charges,” an insider told Page Six.

“Angelina is likely looking for a morsel of information, something else to use against Brad, to hurt him. This is a desperate fishing expedition trying to find something that likely doesn’t exist in FBI notes and make it public.”

Amanda Kramer, the attorney who filed the lawsuit on behalf of Jane Doe, would not address speculation surrounding her client’s identity.

Pitt, 58, and Jolie, 46, were married in 2014. They filed for divorce in 2019. Their relationship was the subject of intense scrutiny by tabloids.
