Brad Pitt hasn't been seen in public with the kids he shares with Angelina Jolie for months now, but it seems the actor has been spending a lot of time with them in private.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Pitt has been seeing his six children, Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10, a lot more after he and Jolie reached a custody agreement last year and dedicated themselves to co-parenting.

A source told the outlet that Pitt and his estranged wife decided on a schedule as to who would have the kids on certain days. It was apparently a problem for Pitt and Jolie in the past, but now, the children are able to spend time with their dad without any issue.

"Their kids have a custody schedule and that's made a huge difference for the whole family," the insider explained. "The schedule has alleviated any of the planning pressures Brad and Angelina have faced in the past. Now the kids spend time with both their parents and are happy and thriving."

In November, Jolie and Pitt finally ended their tense custody battle after deciding on an arrangement they both liked. While the details of the custody agreement were not revealed, Jolie's attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean, explained to ET Online at the time that both the actress and her ex-husband decided on it with the help of a child custody evaluator.

Meanwhile, Pitt and Jolie recently took a step forward in their separation as they were granted their single status despite not having finalized their divorce. Now, the exes are free to date and file their taxes as "single" individuals without their married status hanging over their heads.

The "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil" actress has reportedly also dropped the "Pitt" from her legal name, which has reverted back to Angelina Jolie. She had changed her name after tying the knot with Pitt back in August 2014.

Two years after Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, the actress and Pitt reportedly now get along better after moving past the "very hard feelings" they had for each other. According to the same source, the former couple "rarely argue" with each other and could even calmly discuss things together.
