Brad Pitt has reportedly started dating again after ending his marriage with Angelina Jolie and becoming legally single again.

While Pitt and Jolie have not yet finalized their divorce, it seems the actor has been eager to get back into the dating scene. A source recently told Entertainment Tonight that Pitt is "dating" again.

However, the insider added that Pitt may not start another serious relationship yet while he and Jolie are finalizing their divorce. "He is enjoying himself, nothing serious," the source dished, adding that Pitt is a "free spirit when it comes to dating."

Despite moving on from Jolie, Pitt is reportedly dedicated to co-parenting his six children with Jolie. According to the same source, the "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood" star has been spending time with Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10, more often after he and Jolie reached a custody agreement in November last year.

Jolie and Pitt, who were together for nearly 12 years before she filed for divorce in 2016, reportedly agreed on a schedule for when the kids would stay with their mom and dad. This move reportedly "alleviated any of the planning pressures Brad and Angelina have faced in the past."

This news comes days after Pitt and Jolie's request for a bifurcation was granted by a judge who declared their marriage officially over. This gave them back their legally single status despite their ongoing divorce settlement.

One legal expert who is not involved in the estranged couple's case recently speculated that the reason why Jolie and Pitt requested to be given back their single status was that they were ready to date again. However, certified family law specialist Steve Mindel also told People magazine that the move could be related to “all kinds of business issues."

For instance, now that they are legally single again, Jolie and Pitt can now file their taxes as "single" instead of "married."

Back in August 2018, a rep for Jolie stated that the actress requested for bifurcation in order to "provide closure to the marriage in a way that clears a path toward the next stage of their lives and allows her and Brad to recommit as devoted co-parents to their children.”

Meanwhile, Jolie also recently had "Pitt" removed from her surname, according to court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight. Her legal name is now Angelina Jolie again five years after she added the name Pitt following their 2014 wedding.
