The most popular South Korean artists, BTS and Blackpink have landed numerous nominations for the 2021 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

Nickelodeon announced the nominations list on Feb. 2 and revealed that BTS and Blackpink have scored three and two nominations respectively and the voting is now open.

BTS has been nominated for the "Favourite Song" category for its hit track "Dynamite" which was the band’s first all-English single. The retro-themed, energetic song has since bagged multiple awards and continues to be an absolute fan favorite since its release on Aug. 21, 2020.

The band will be up against Taylor Swift’s "Cardigan," "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd, "Toosie Slide" by Drake, "Wonder" by Shawn Mendes, and "Yummy" by Justin Bieber, according to Soompi.

Blackpink made it into the nominations list with its hit single "Ice Cream" in collaboration with Selena Gomez. The lighthearted and upbeat single was officially released on Aug. 28, 2020.

The girls received a nomination for the "Favorite Music Collaboration" category and will be competing alongside other popular collaborations including "Holy" by Justin Bieber featuring Chance the Rapper, "Be Kind" by Marshmello and Halsey, "Lonely" by Justin Bieber, and Benny Blanco, "Rain on Me" by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, and "Stuck with U" by Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber.

Both BTS and Blackpink have been nominated in the "Favourite Music Group" category alongside Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5, OneRepublic, and Black Eyed Peas. Last year, BTS bagged the trophy for the "Favourite Music Group" category.

BTS has also landed a nomination in the "Favourite Global Music Star" category for Asia and will be competing against Master KG (Africa), Taylor Swift (North America), Savannah Clarke (Australia), David Guetta (Europe), and Sebastián Yatra (Latin America). Previously, BTS had won the trophy in the "Favourite Global Music Star" category in 2018.

Meanwhile, the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2021 is scheduled to broadcast on March 13 on Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, and the Nick Jr. Channels.
