BTS made new records again after the release of their latest digital track called "Butter." The South Korean supergroup cracked YouTube's record Saturday for the highest number of viewers for a music video premiere.

The K-pop band's second English-language track garnered 108.2 million views during its first 24 hours. The number surpassed BTS' own record of 101.1 million views for "Dynamite," which is the group's first full English song.

Additionally, "Butter" is now the fastest music video in YouTube history to surpass 10 million views after hitting the said number in just 13 minutes. "Dynamite" previously held the record.

As of writing, the official music video of "Butter" has already generated more than 175 million views on YouTube and has remained the No. 1 trending video for music. It has also earned 14 million likes and more than 6 million comments.

On top of achieving new milestones online, BTS also bagged three awards at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. Ahead of the live awarding ceremony, NBC and Dick Clark production announced the off-air winners of BBMAs.

This year, the Big Hit Entertainment-formed group nabbed the Top Social Artist (fan-voted), Top Song Sales Artist, and Top Duo/Group awards. BTS is also nominated for the Top Selling Song award, but the winner will be announced during the show.

This is the fifth time BTS snagged the Billboard Music Awards Top Social Artist trophy after winning it in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Besides the "Life Goes On" hitmakers, other artists who were nominated in the said category were SB19, Seventeen, Ariana Grande and Blackpink.

"Top Social Artist for five years in a row. Thank you, ARMY and BBMAs for such an incredible title," J-Hope stated in a video as BTS accepted the award. "Let's continue to stay connected as always," Suga added.

This is also the second time that the K-pop group won the Top Duo/Group award, getting its first one in 2019. Other nominees this year were Maroon 5, Dan + Shay, AJR, and AC/DC.
