Infinity Wards, the American game studio that developed the seven installments of the "Call of Duty" franchise, is reportedly working on a new battle royale mode for its newly-released tactical shooter game "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare." Dataminers just uncovered new pieces of evidence, suggesting the game developer might be working in a new battle royale mode.

A "Call of Duty" leaker, who goes by the name of Senescallo, posted on Reddit the latest data-mined information about the rumored battle royale mode. In his post, he revealed a massive map that contains about 15 zones and has, at least, six points of interest. The map is so big that it can accommodate over 200 players in just a single match. In the rumored battle royale mode, players will be able to play Solo, Duos with friends or play the game in a squad of 4, Otakukart reported.

In addition to the new battle royal map, the Reddit post also included a link that shows the entire list of data mined information, which include some hints about default player count options for both private and public matches, details about how Respawn Tokens works, details about six mission types, armor and loot.

The COD leaker has even detailed how the Respawn Token works. He said, after getting respawned, players will need to find and activate a Mobile Armory first. Players will need to be careful because jailbreaks sometimes happen here and, when jailbreak happens, it kicks all the players out of the notorious Gulag prison camp.

There will be a new in-game currency called "Plunder" that players can be used by eliminating enemies and completing missions. Additionally, the new game mode will also bring five tiers of guns as well as new perks.

Unfortunately, all of the posted data-mined information on the subreddit hasn’t yet confirmed by the game publisher, Activision, so it still safe to treat all of those posted data-mined information as rumors.

Right now, it’s still not clear whether this rumored battle royale mode will be a free download or will require another DLC purchase. The rumored battle royale mode is reportedly in development at Raven Software, which has already worked on numerous "Call of Duty" titles in the past years, the VG247 reported.

This Wisconsin-based game developer has already worked with the "Call of Duty" publisher Activision in the past years. Raven has signed an exclusive publishing deal with the US publishing giant Activision. It also the lead game developer in the free-to-play Chinese "Call of Duty" game and "Call of Duty: Online." The developer also worked on the remastered version of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare."
