Camilla Parker Bowles is a slob, according to her former flatmate.

The Duchess of Cornwall will soon be queen when Prince Charles takes over the throne. However, new details about Camilla were revealed in an explosive tell-all book "The Duchess of Cornwall: Camilla's Story and Secrets" written by Jessica Jayne.

Prior to meeting Prince Charles, Camilla and her friend Virginia Carrington rented a large apartment together in London's exclusive Ebury Street, Belgravia. Carrington was the daughter of Conservative politician Margaret Thatcher's former Foreign Secretary, Lord Carrington. She was with Camilla during their formative years and Jayne recalled her describing the duchess as a "total slob," (as quoted by Express).

"Upon coming home, she would just drop her clothes on the floor on her way to her bedroom," she said. "Camilla's bedroom always looked like a bomb had hit it."

"Virginia was fairly tidy, so Camilla drove her nuts," Jayne added. "You should have seen the state of the bathroom after she’d been in it."

Virginia reportedly described Camilla as "warm-hearted, dependable and good fun to be with, and so nice that her untidiness did not matter."

"Camilla was so sweet it was impossible to be angry with her. She was like a big, boisterous puppy," she added.

Jayne also described Camilla as someone who "wasn't a beauty" but a "boy magnet." The author didn't find Camilla pretty. For her, Prince Charles' second wife "wasn't blessed with the good looks, but made up for it with her earthy sexuality that attracted the boys to her."

Camilla can easily relate to boys much quicker than other girls her age. She's into riding, hunting and jumping. She can also discuss to them different subjects of their interest like fishing, sports and hunting.

In related news, Prince Charles is very proud of Camilla. In fact, royal biographer Penny Junor believed that the Prince of Wales would make a way to make his second wife the next queen.

"I have little doubt that Charles is so proud of Camilla, and so grateful for everything she has done for him and sacrificed for him, that he will insist she gets the full title," Junor wrote in "The Duchess: The Untold Story."
