A car crashed into a home in Fountain Hills, Arizona, on Sunday morning leaving two persons traveling in it injured, police said.

Deputies of Maricopa County Sheriff's Office were called to the home near Shea and Palisades Boulevards at around 12: 40 p.m. EST Sunday. The car lost control and hit the rear side of a vehicle before crashing into the home’s garage, ABC 15 reported, citing police.

The occupants of the crashed car were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives were trying to comprehend if speeding or impairment may have triggered the crash.

Rural Metro Fire officials said the car may have been trying to escape law enforcement before it crashed.

Identities of the injured persons weren’t released. No other injuries were reported owing to the crash.

In a similar incident in South Carolina on Saturday, a car fled the scene after ramming into a house in North Charleston, thus killing a person who was inside it. The hit-and-run collision occurred at 11:00 p.m. EST. Investigators were searching for the driver, The State reported.
