Cardi B surprised her fans with pregnancy news during the BET Awards 2021 held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles Sunday.

The announcement took place during the performance of her husband Offset's group Migos. The 28-year-old rapper entered the stage while the group was performing "Type S," one of the tracks in its newly released album.

Clad in a black bodysuit that exposed her baby bump, Cardi shared that their second baby is coming. The rapper went on to perform the "Type Sh-t" music track from the "Culture III" music album.

Taraji P. Henson, the award ceremony's host, took the stage after the performance and joked, "Cardi B and Offset, giving us life - literally."

A netizen posted a video of her performance on Twitter Sunday. In the caption, they wrote, "@iamcardib has always been the one give energy on the stage performance while being pregnant!! She killed it."

The official BET Awards Twitter handle also shared a GIF of Cardi B and captioned it with, "OMG!!!!!! @iamcardib breaking some MAJOR news! Pregnant and slaying Star-struck#BETAwards #CulturesBiggestNight."

The rapper made her debut in the action-adventure movie franchise "F9" on June 25. The movie also stars Vin Diesel, John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster and Charlize Theron.
