The Beast of Gévaudan is alive and Vanitas and Noé embark on a new adventure in "The Case Study of Vanitas" Part 2, Episode 13. Vanitas has convinced Noé to work with him to catch this beast from the past.

The official website has released the synopsis of "The Case Study of Vanitas" Part 2, Episode 13. Noé and Vanitas arrive in the Gévaudan region. Dante joins Johann and heads to the Silver Forest to find clues about the presence of the beast.

However, in the forest, Noé gets lost. Suddenly, the lush green surrounding turns into a snowy landscape and the howling of a wolf echoes.

"It's 19th-century Paris, and young vampire Noé hunts for the Book of Vanitas. Attacked by a vampire driven insane, a human doctor called Vanitas tempts Noé with a mad crusade to 'cure' the entire vampire race. While allying with him may be dangerous, news reaches Vanitas that the Beast of Gévaudan has returned, and Noé is being brought along to investigate this phantom from the past," read the official synopsis of "The Case Study of Vanitas" Part 2, according to Funimation.

The opening theme, titled "Your Name," is performed by Little Glee Monster and the ending theme, "salvation," is performed by MONONKVL. "The Case Study of Vanitas" Part 2 is directed by Tomoyuki Itamura. The anime is based on the original work by Jun Mochizuki.
