It's not unusual for people to get tattoos to honor someone, however, one particular piece of artwork has sparked some interest thanks to its unusual subject and the material used to create it. According to TMZ, a Charles Manson "fanboy" recently got some fresh ink to forever symbolize his admiration for the late mass murderer that incorporated his actual ashes.

Tattoo artist Ryan Almighty told the outlet that he recently inked the unusual artwork for a friend of his who goes by the name John Michael Jones. Almighty says that Jones stated he wanted the arm tattoo because he had been a longtime pen pal of the now deceased Manson. The artwork can be seen below in a tweet from TMZ's account.

As an added bonus, the artist even mixed some of Manson's actual ashes into the ink during the six-hour process. Per TMZ, Jones reportedly drove from Boston to the tattoo shop in rural New York to receive the tattoo.

The outlet reports this isn't Almighty's first work of art that incorporates Manson's remains. He is said to have also created a "blood painting" of Manson last year, which now belongs to Zak Bagan's Haunted Museum in Las Vegas.
