Charlie Puth has dropped a new teaser for his track “Left and Right,” which will mark his first collaboration song with BTS’ Jungkook.

In the 26-minute clip uploaded on Puth’s TikTok page Thursday, he and Jungkook sit inside a car and start vibing as soon as the intro for the track started playing. The “Light Switch” singer later grabs the camera and focuses it on Jungkook, who is tapping to the beat on the car door. Puth then ends the teaser by saying, “So Cool!”

He also wrote on the caption, “Left and Right (feat. Jung Kook of BTS) out this Friday 12am ET/ 1pm KST. The official music video drops the same day. ”

A Twitter user tweeted the TikTok clip and wrote, “ LEFT AND RIGHT IT'S COMING.”

BTS fans shared their excitement on Twitter, and congratulated the group’s youngest member in his latest musical project.

“Let’s make a thread of how jungkook has been excited about this collaboration for ages and the mutual respect for each other,” a fan wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of the two singers giving each other a fist bump while on stage.

Another fan reminisced about the time when Puth praised Jungkook’s cover of “We Don’t Talk Anymore” in 2016.

“Let’s start with their interaction in 2016. Charlie said he received his cover of ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’…Kept complementing jungkook saying: “You sing good, very good." Unbelievable! People are going to lose their sh*t, you’re fantastic,” the fan wrote and tweeted a clip of Puth coaching Jungkook to sing and later telling the youngest BTS member “You sing good” before flashing a thumbs up sign.

A third supporter rallied other fans to support the release of the track on Friday. “And finally the long waited collab will be on 24 July stay tune to it and give it all love and support they both respect each other and love each other’s work,” the fan said.

Puth first teased the collaboration last week, ending months of speculation from fans who suspected there was an impending team up between the two artists. On June 17, Puth uploaded a 40-second teaser video also on his TikTok page showing Jungkook singing a snippet of the song, which will be included in Puth’s upcoming album, “Charlie.”

Puth and Jungkook first collaborated during the MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards in South Korea in 2018 where they sang a duet of “We Don’t Talk Anymore.”
