Couple Has Sex In Sea After Burying Toddler Daughter Neck-Deep In Sand For 45 Minutes

A couple had sex in the sea after burying their toddler daughter in the sand of the beach. The incident took place in Santa Clara del Mar, Argentina, on Monday.

Police arrived at the scene after receiving calls from other beachgoers stating that a couple was performing “obscene exhibitions while diving into the sea.” The responding officers found the couple’s two-year-old daughter buried up to her neck in sand. She was “hungry and sunburnt" as she was buried for over 45 minutes. The responding officers took the couple into custody after they resisted arrest.

Confirming the incident, police said, the couple, both aged 29, were in the sea and “they left a child of two years buried in the sand of the beach up to the neck.”

A beachgoer said, “It was about 95 degrees Fahrenheit so imagine what that poor little girl was like.”

Police searched the couple’s bags and found drugs including ecstasy and over 200 pills of the sedative Rivotril in them. Meanwhile, another man who was with the couple fled the scene before the officers arrived.

Police said, the father, who was from Argentina, and the mother, from Paraguay, remained in custody. The toddler was taken into temporary care.
