Courteney Cox uses a secret ingredient to prepare the "greatest steak of all time" and she is crediting Brandi Carlile for the recipe.

The 58-year-old actress says she adds freshly ground coffee to make her steak tastier.

The "Friends" star admitted that Carlile's recipe was "better" than her own, before sharing how the coffee steak is prepared.

"I'm gonna make the greatest steak of all time," Cox said in a video shared Monday. "I thought that my recipe was good, but I actually got this from Brandi Carlile — and hers is better than mine."

It just requires three main ingredients: Asparagus, mashed cauliflower and New York or Ribeye steaks. The recipe is quite simple – After mixing truffle oil, ground pepper and salt with the steak, add some freshly ground coffee to it. "You take brown sugar. Then you do the same thing on the other side," she added.

While the steak was getting ready, the actress prepared some mashed cauliflower with a blender. She then grilled the steak, along with some asparagus.

"I'm not a chef. I just make things that taste good," she said as she was flipping the asparagus.

"The best steaks ever! Thanks to my friend @Brandicarlile," Cox captioned her video.

"You have that sh-t DIALED IN," Carlile commented on the video.

Jennifer Garner also commented, "Well this looks delicious." Musician Eliot Sumner and actress Sara Foster also praised Cox for the steak.

Cox and Carlile are Instagram friends. They became friends after Cox played Carlile's song "The Joke" on a piano and shared a video of it in 2020.

"It was just great. Courteney's a badass piano player. So, we met on Instagram and bonded over piano music," Carlile told EW in July last year.

Carlile was last featured in the music video "Right on Time," which was helmed by Cox. Cox was last seen in a TV series, "Shining Vale." She will be next seen in the movie "Scream 6," which is slated to release next year.
