Hallmark Channel's merry holiday season continues with the newest "Countdown to Christmas" holiday premiere, "A Cozy Christmas Inn." The film, starring Jodie Sweetin and David O'Donnell, premieres Friday night.

Fans will certainly be in for a treat with the film as they will recognize both the stars. Sweetin is of course best known for the iconic role of Stephanie Tanner on both "Full House" and "Fuller House," but she isn't a stranger to Hallmark, and has, in fact, starred in several films on the network. These include "Finding Santa," "Entertaining Christmas," "Love Under the Rainbow" and "Merry & Bright."

As for O'Donnell, fans may think he's a new face, and while it has been a while since Hallmarkies might have seen him in one of the network's movies, he isn't a stranger. His previous credits actually included the films "A Christmas Wedding Tail," and 2014's "Christmas Under Wraps," starring Sweetin's "Fuller House" co-star Candace Cameron Bure. This will be his first time starring with Sweetin however. Interestingly enough, in this new film, O'Donnell will be reprising the role from the 2014 title.

Vivica A. Fox ("Summer in the City") and Brian Doyle-Murray ("Christmas Under Wraps") also star.

So what can fans expect from the new film, which is also a reunion for Doyle-Murray and O'Donnell?

"The holidays are quickly approaching, and real estate tycoon Sharon Farris (Fox) knows what she wants for Christmas: a picturesque small bed and breakfast in the cute Christmas-centric town of Garland, Alaska," a synopsis teases. "Determined to get her hands on the property at any cost, she sends one of her junior execs, Erika (Sweetin), to convince the owner to sell. Much to Erika's surprise, the owner turns out to be Andy Holliday (O'Donnell), her ex-boyfriend from college."

Naturally, this unexpected discovery makes things a little more complicated than planned when it comes to Erika's mission.

"As Erika spends time in the town trying to convince Andy and his father Frank (Doyle-Murray) to sell the property to Sharon, the city girl finds herself falling in love with both the charm of Garland and her ex-boyfriend," the synopsis continues. "In fact, the experience changes her so much that when she learns that business has been poor and he's on the verge of bankruptcy, she decides to use her knowledge and experience to help him keep the very hotel she'd been sent to take away from him."

Now, as Erika's mission changes, she will be forced to consider not only whether she can give Andy the help he needs, but whether or not she can salvage the relationship without reliving what made things go wrong the first time.

"Is there enough time before December 25th to successfully turn things around?" the synopsis questions. "Even more importantly, as their relationship develops, will Erika and Andy be able to avoid their mistakes of the past and live happily ever after?"

"A Cozy Christmas Inn" airs Friday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
