Abby Lee Miller’s star student has returned. Maddie Ziegler, who has been busy filming the Colin Trevorrow's drama “The Book of Henry” in New York City since October, competed alongside her teammates as part of the "Dance Moms" Season 6, episode 7 competition over the weekend.

Maddie, 13, was one of several dancers competing as part of Abby’s elite junior team at Sheer Talent in Phoenix on Saturday, according to one “Dance Moms” spoiler site. A fan video from the event shows Maddie and her teammates -- Nia Frazier, Brynn Rumfallo, JoJo Siwa, Kalani Hilliker, Mackenzie Ziegler and Kendall Vertes -- dancing to a contemporary number. Other amatuer videos reveal the ALDC LA (Abby Lee Dance Company Los Angeles) competed three solos.

So, how did the ALDC fare during their latest West Coast competition? According to competition attendees, their group number, titled “Well Oiled Machine” -- possibly an ide to Maddie’s return -- placed first. Sheer Talent has since posted a sneak-peek video of their group routine to Instagram.

ALDC soloist Kalani, 15, competing in her home state, scored first-place with her contemporary piece “Wild Thing/Wild One.” Fellow soloists Brynn and Kendall each scored second in their respective junior and teen divisions. Brynn, 12, competed a lyrical routine titled “Mystic Beauty” and Kendall, 12, danced to a jazz number, “Curiosity.”

The “Dance Moms” cast's latest competition sweep comes off their controversial appearance at Devotion 2 Dance in Agoura Hills, California, Nov. 14. After filming at the event, and winning first-place overall for their group routine, it was revealed that there were only 15 numbers total at the competition.

“Dance Moms” is expected to return to Lifetime with new episodes in 2016.
