“Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" decided to spice up their latest episode when they invited former “American Idol” judge and pop diva Paula Abdul to be a guest judge Monday night.

Abdul was known for her tumultuous relationship with British judge Simon Cowell, but seemed to get along swimmingly with British ‘DWTS’ judge Bruno Tonioli.

Many viewers said they enjoyed her banter with the sometimes overzealous Tonioli, but that it would be “too much” if it were a regular occurrence on the show.

Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd stood out from the crowd with their Bollywood routine that Len Goodman branded “hotter than curry,” and Carrie Ann Inaba told Gilles that Aladdin had nothing on him, even though Aladdin isn’t Indian. The dancers were awarded a near perfect score of 39.5.

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough also wowed the judges. This week they showed they didn’t have to break the rules in order to deliver an outstanding performance. They did a sexy mambo with lifts that prompted Inaba to tell Johnson, “If I were the other contestants, I'd be a little scared of you." They also walked away with an almost flawless score of 39.5.

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy stepped up their game, and their hearts, with an emotional dance to Coldplay. Their efforts merited a score of 37.5.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani weren’t far behind with a jitterbug that had difficult lifts and tricks. They slipped up a few times, but Tonioli assured her she was “fearless and fierce,” which earned them a score of 37.

After starting out strong, Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke find themselves in the middle of the leader board. Abdul found their routine exquisite and sensual, which got them a score of 36.

Sabrina Bryan and Louis Van Amstel and Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff both slipped a little this week, with mistakes in both of their routines.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas were mediocre even though they got the highest scores if the season with earning a 32 from the judges.

Even though Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiys' dance wasn’t perfect, it was still entertaining. The two, however, got the lowest scores of the night with a 30 from the judges.
