Speaking in an interview with E! News, the 53-year-old actor revealed that he is really excited about just being in the “room” with the other five actors who will join him for the special. Schwimmer will be joined by Aniston, Cox, Perry, Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc for the reunion episode.

“I guess what I am honestly most looking forward to is just being in the room with those other five actors. It is five, right? That was a joke,” Schwimmer told the media outlet.

The “People v O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story” star also explained that being on the actual set for the first time in 10 years would be a “meaningful experience.”

“But being on the actual sounds stage on the actual set for the first time in 10 years, the set that we shot on for 10 years, that to me is going to be a really meaningful experience,” Schwimmer said during the interview.

The original series started in the year 1995 and ran for ten seasons. Those ten seasons had a total of 236 episodes. Seven out of the ten seasons consisted of 24 episodes each while two seasons ran for 25 episodes each. On the other hand, the final season only had 18 episodes.

Recently, Aniston revealed that after playing Rachel Green on “Friends” for 10 years, she had trouble getting casting directors to believe she could play other roles.

“I could not get Rachel Green off of my back for the life of me. I could not escape ‘Rachel from Friends,’” Aniston told the Hollywood Reporter.

“Friends” chronicles the journey of six people — Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey, and Ross — living in the heart of New York. Over the course of ten years, the group of buddies goes through gigantic mayhem, family troubles, past and future romances, laughs, tears, fights, and surprises as they learn what it really means to be friends.
