He lost the girl he was falling in love with after she not only disapproved of what his job was entailing but also after she learned of the deal he had made with Claire. Now, as he continues to mourn the end of his relationship with Ciara, Ben will begin to lash out on the Wednesday, Jan. 30 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) found their romance to be short-lived on the NBC soap after they had a huge fight about his working for Stefan (Tyler Christopher) and kidnapping Gabi (Camila Banus) for him. Things got worse when Ciara learned that Ben and Claire (Olivia Keegan) had worked together to end her relationship with Tripp (Lucas Adams), and as a result, their own romance came to an end. Since then, Ciara went off to South Africa to go see Theo, and Ben has been unable to contact her to explain his actions. As a result, he is beginning to lose his cool and will start to lash out.

Unlike him, Claire has had success with her attempt to start a relationship with Tripp, and the two recently slept together, making it seem as if things were really headed in a serious direction. Seeing how their plot worked out for her but caused him misery could cause Ben to focus on destroying Claire’s happy romance—and he may just do that.

“Ben tells Tripp about Claire,” spoilers reveal.

Naturally, Tripp, who wasn’t really over Ciara anyway, will be annoyed by the plot, especially since he had conspired to get Ben locked up. It will likely put a huge damper on his relationship with Claire—and will also open him up to the possibility of some other new romance.

Spoilers also reveal that “Tripp and Haley (Thia Megia) connect.” The two previously crossed paths when Haley treated him at the hospital, and she later admitted to finding him attractive. The two could start to form a small romance of their own as Tripp rebounds from the hurt he experienced due to both Ciara and Claire.

Of course, Ben’s actions will also later have consequences for him, because ratting Claire out will end the only alliance he had in Salem. And if his behavior continues to spiral, he could be finding himself blamed when things once again take a scary turn in Salem—and Ciara’s life.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
