She has just been handed the most devastating news of her life and is grieving the loss of her daughter. Now, as she finds herself angry with the man she loves and blames him for the events that led to this tragedy, Nicole may wind up seeking comfort in someone else’s arms instead on the Friday, May 10 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After being told Holly was killed when her alleged kidnapper’s car went over the ravine, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was crushed on the NBC soap, as her main reason for coming back to Salem was so she could be reunited with both her baby girl and the love of her life, Eric (Greg Vaughan). Since the kidnapping and presumed death are believed to be the work of the drug cartel, Nicole is blaming Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), who had custody of Holly, and Eric, who allowed the other woman to watch over her since he believed that was what Nicole wanted.

Now, as she continues grieving, Eric will try to be there for her the best he can, but Nicole is still too angry to forgive him for what she feels he has done.

“Nicole continues to rebuff Eric,” spoilers reveal.

Meanwhile, Holly’s real kidnapper is walking around Salem with no one any the wiser about what he’s done, and she is safe and sound far from there now as a result. However, even though his arrival back in town could raise some suspicions, Xander (Paul Telfer) will likely try his best to make sure his presence is felt, and he will show everyone he is in fact there. As he does this though, he could stir up more trouble for Nicole and Eric’s reunion—by seeing Nicole find comfort with his brother, Brady (Eric Martsolf).

“Xander walks in on Brady comforting Nicole,” spoilers reveal.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
