“Deadpool 3” may bring back a familiar villain from the “X-Men” franchise. The producers are reportedly considering bringing back a character who was the nemesis of Wolverine (Hugh Jackman).

According to We Got This Covered, reliable sources have confirmed the Marvel Studios may introduce the “X-Men” villain William Stryker in the next Ryan Reynolds movie.

William Stryker is a former military officer who hates mutants. The comic book character appeared in the “X-Men” movies, and it was played by Brian Cox and Danny Huston.

The character Wolverine is often mentioned in the “Deadpool” movies, and Reynolds has been joking with Jackman about it on social media. It remains to be seen if Logan’s nemesis will now be introduced in the upcoming superhero movie.

Marvel Studios will be giving a fresh take on the “X-Men” franchise after it bought the rights from Fox. While the reboot may take some time to materialize, some of the characters may be introduced in the upcoming movies that have been announced.

Marvel is reportedly considering casting Professor X, Magneto, and Wolverine. However, Logan’s role in the reboot will not be as significant as that played by Jackman. The other big character they are considering is Daredevil, which will be played by Charlie Cox.
